COVID Anniversary Musings...

It's hard to believe that the one year anniversary of COVID is upon us!  I often think about what my family was doing at this time a year ago and about all of the things we took for granted.  There have been so many casualties during this pandemic, of health, of lives, of businesses, and of our entire way of life.  Gratitude has been a grounding force in my life, especially when things seemed very difficult.

And now, the end is finally in sight.  The pandemic obviously isn't over anytime soon, and we might still see some ups and downs with numbers over the next year.  But with more people being vaccinated and our implementation of preventive measures, I'm finally feeling a little hopeful that life can resemble some normalcy in the not so distant future.

This will be a new normal, but maybe that's not a bad thing…

I'm looking forward to redefining a new normal where I have more quality of time with my family and loved ones.  I'm also looking forward to a new normal of appreciating nature more, and renewing my commitment to live more sustainably on our beautiful planet.  And mostly, I'm looking forward to giving carefree hugs to my friends, patients, and anyone else who needs one!
